Berwick Care

For Berwick Care, I delivered a comprehensive brand and digital transformation designed to reposition the company as a leader in the care home procurement industry.

Although Berwick had decades of experience and a strong reputation offline, their brand and website did not reflect the scale, expertise, or authority they held within the sector. The project began with a strategic phase, including competitor analysis and brand positioning, to identify opportunities for Berwick to stand apart in a crowded and visually similar industry.

From this foundation, I evolved their existing identity into a more confident and contemporary brand system. This included refining the typography hierarchy, developing a more distinctive colour palette that allowed Berwick to confidently own pink within the industry, and establishing a clear tone of voice in collaboration with a copywriter. The project extended beyond brand identity into the full design and build of a new website, structured to communicate expertise, clearly present their services, and support long-term growth. The final result is a cohesive brand and digital presence that positions Berwick Care as a modern, authoritative partner for care providers across the UK.

Despite being highly experienced within the care home procurement industry, the previous site felt dated and visually similar to many competitors, making it difficult for Berwick to stand out.

The navigation structure was also overwhelming, with over 100 pages listed in the menu, creating a confusing user experience and making it difficult for visitors to find key information.

Important services and differentiators were buried within the site, and the overall design lacked the clarity, hierarchy, and authority needed to position Berwick as the industry leader they were aiming to become.
