the process

1. Brand Strategy & Creative Direction

Let’s kick things off with the essentials. I delve into brand strategy, researching your target audience and competition. This step is crucial, as it enables me to craft branding that not only appeals to your audience but also sets you apart in your industry. Additionally, we’ll create a mood-board featuring typography styles and colour palette inspiration that align with our strategy findings.

2. Logo Concepting

Creative direction is locked in, and our strategy is firm. Now, let’s dive into generating initial ideas for your branding suite. I follow the 2 concept method, presenting two distinct logo suites for your review and feedback.

3. Logo Suite Development

Having received approval for one of the two concepts, it’s time for the finishing touches to polish your logos, colour palette, and typography styling/hierarchy. Additionally, I’ll ensure they’re exported in every file type imaginable, giving you plenty of options for your launch applications.

4. Brand Guidelines Crafting*

This is the massive brand guidelines document that collates all the rules and regulations surrounding your new branding. It will walk you through how to use the logos correctly, what typeface to use in what scenarios, and which colours work together for maximum accessibility.

5. Off-Boarding & Review

When you’re fully satisfied with everything, I’ll send over the exported logo files and provide instructions on where to access your brand fonts. Additionally, I’ll request your input through a little off-boarding questionnaire to review my design service.
